LOCKDOWN, UNLOCKED & LOCKED OUT

During the Covid-19 pandemic most projects were delayed or canceled. In an unprecedented situation with empty agendas a creative idea arose. What if we capture the global lockdowns and all the corona regulations? Not by filming ourselves, but with a compilation of news reports and videos that people post on their social media?

For weeks we did online research and selected themes and subjects that would flow organically. Over a year we eventually produced three short documentaries, completely built with publicly available social media content. From our home studio we were able to capture a global event. LOCKDOWN, UNLOCKED & LOCKED OUT together form a unique time capsule and a memorable document of a surreal period in recent history. Check the website here with the three short films.
